I might be way off the mark, and forgive me if i am, but this reminds me so much of Alan Lee's work!
maybe because you seem to be employing the same sort of colorwork-- nicely subtle with lots of whites... and a very "bluey" background (if i can pass "bluey" off as a word...) to get the sense of distance and humidity...
very peaceful... the title says "evening", but i have to say that i get a sense of dawn with this picture. i can feel the cold, dewy air and smell the plants waking up... and of course, i can hear the tumultuous sound of all the birds
